Apple’s iPoint and iPay soon to be launched

More and more rumours and articles about Apple and their soon to be launched loyalty program (named iPoint?) and an extended payment service (iTunes+, maybe iPay).

With 400 Million iTunes card accounts and the perfect base for a loyalty and reward programme, of course Apple will launch iPoint promoting Apple products and more to its already very loyal customer base.

Regarding payment/mobile payment beyond iTunes for app’s and music, I’m not that sure. First out could be to use your iTunes account to pay for more kinds of digital products like books and pc games. First use of iTunes to pay in shops I guess could first be tested in the Apple stores. Already today you can use the Apple Passbook app to store giftcards that can be used in Apple stores.
