Google Wallet on it’s way

Yesterday Google Wallet was launched. It’s a joint venture NFC mobile payment trial that will start in San Fransisco and NY from this summer.

Partners in the trial are Google, Citi, Sprint and First Data. Read more here.

The initiative have a few  dependencies though, you will need:
– a Nexus S 4G phone
– a Sprint subscription (or as stated “eligable” Sprint customers)
– a Citi MC and apply for Google Wallet payment method
– at merchants in USA that takes MC PayPass

I believe this is a good initiative, especially for us working with mobile and mobile security technology.
